First Battle of Morn: Also known as The Great Rebellion, this conflict which is chronicled by Deborah Moulton, depicts the over-throw of the ruling class of once-humans on Morn. However, to refer to the Great Rebellion as Morn’s first battle is misleading. Morn had experienced a tumultuous history of conflict and wars long before it was colonized by Earth settlers.

Galzon: Subterranean tree-like structures in the Blue Forest , these blue leafed “trees” can grow to fifty feet in height. Although they appear to have leaves, they are actually a type of moss found only on Morn.  Their metallic blue leaves store light which then is radiated out in the form of phosphorescence.

Gorbul: Sentient cold-blooded life form native to planet Morn. Gorbuls stand approximately four feet tall. The lower body is lizard-like with four feet and a thick tail. The upper body has two humanoid arms with full functioning hands both of which are covered in skin. Gorbul faces are also humanoid but identical to one another. The gorbul head is framed in cascading lobes which act as a type of external brain.  Gorbuls are differentiated from each other by the color of their lobes.  These lobes also reflect the emotional and/or physical state of the gorbul by inflating or deflating.  Gorbuls communicate primarily by telepathy. However, they also can whistle and squeak as well as speak the Morn Universal language.

Great Mantle Forest:  This forest is one of the oldest and largest forests on Morn. Predating the Worm Reign, it is possibly one of the few remaining areas that show how fertile the planet once was.

Great Rebellion:  Also known as The First Battle of Morn, this uprising is key in Morn’s history as it marks the overthrow of the ruling class of the human colonists known as Teachers. Furthermore, this political upheaval is the first recorded instance in which humans and native Morns actually worked together.
